Jennifer said: "I'm absolutely thrilled by the result. We've been out on the streets leafleting and talking to local people over the last few weeks and it's amazing to see that work pay off. I'm very grateful to everyone who has supported me in the campaign and I can't wait to build on this result going forwards. I want to make a difference in Wolverton Ward, because this is an area with such a strong community and it deserves to be protected and encouraged to thrive."

Jennifer has also recently been elected to Wolverton & Greenleys Parish Council, which she hopes will help her target issues important to local people.

Other Green Party candidates achieved good results - Alexander Fraser for Stantonbury received 373 votes, and Catherine Rose for Olney received 171. Milton Keynes Green Party would like to thank everyone who supported their candidates and voted for them, and we look forward to what the future now holds!
