Full Slate for Council Elections

Milton Keynes Green Party will have a candidate in every ward in the Milton Keynes
Council elections on May 3rd 2018. The party is campaigning for better public transport, a halt to major expansion of MK, protection of public services, more affordable housing and more, renewable energy.

Alex Price, Green Party candidate for Broughton Ward, said “I’m concerned for both current residents and new families moving into the area. The Green Party aims to improve things for the benefit of all. That’s not always what interests long-standing local politicians. I believe I can provide new thinking and a new voice for the people of Broughton.”

Alan Francis, candidate for Wolverton ward, said “We all need reliable, affordable and good quality transport. It’s a must for a modern city where working people, students, shoppers and retired people all need to travel locally in safety. Having good bus services, cycling routes and safe places to walk reduces congestion and improves air quality.”
