I have lived in Milton Keynes for over 40 years, 30 of them in Stantonbury, where my children walked to all the local schools, and played with their many friends. I have always been involved in local activities, including the Greentown Group who planned to build their own houses and facilities in Crownhill. I was on the boat that launched the Green Party officially in Milton Keynes.
My first job in Milton Keynes was to carry out research into people’s awareness of renewable energy, in the early 80s. Since then I have been Chair of Stantonbury Parish Council and of MK Forum. I believe in giving local people assistance to achieve as much as they can locally, and in community projects. I now live in Sheltered Housing which is very suitable for people like me as they become older.
