Alan Francis has chalked up another success with the re-introduction of bus services to Emberton. Last year MK Green Party was lobbied by Emberton residents concerned at the loss of their bus service after the 21 was diverted along the bypass rather through the village because of problems with badly parked cars. At a MK City Council meeting earlier this year Mr Francis, representing the MK Bus User Group, pointed out to MKCC that it was within their power to sort out the parking problems and tell the bus operator to serve Emberton again. He returned to another council meeting this month to raise the issue again and was told that it would be happening very soon. The service started going through Emberton again on Monday this week.
This is a big step towards greener, fairer communities!
