Milton Keynes Green Party has selected Tim Lee as its candidate for the
MKCC Loughton and Shenley ward by-election being held on February 22nd.
Tim lives in Loughton and is a member of Loughton & Great Holm Parish
Council. He is a software developer and enjoys running, cycling and walking
with his wife and dog around the parks, woods and canals of MK.

Tim Lee said:

“I’m passionate about preserving the climate, reducing inequality and
promoting community. The residents of Loughton & Shenley need a local
councillor who will represent their views, not just repeat the views of one of
the bigger parties.

Since I joined the Loughton & Great Holm Parish Council we’ve formed an
Environment working group, declared a climate emergency and
switched banks to a greener, more community focused bank. We have also
planted saplings around the parish, and agreed to expand the areas in which
mowing will be reduced over the spring and summer months in order to
promote greater biodiversity.”

Tim is part of a small technical team of volunteers for the fledgling Milton
Keynes Climate Action Network
, helping to set up a website and other supporting services.
